Anointing our home or where are staying with oil is an act of faith, it is a prophetic act! It is a declaration of our trust in God our Father, who is our Refuge and our Fortress! (Psalm 91:1-2)
It is a declaration of our belief in the finished work of the cross, what Lord Jesus has done! The power of the blood of the Lamb! (Revelations 12:10) Knowing we have been raised with Him to heavenly places! Now living in resurrection life and power in Christ! (Colossians 3:1-3) Who came to destroy the works of the enemy! (1 John 3:8) Disarming the enemy! (Colossians 2:15) Who was given all authority in heaven and on earth! (Matthew 28:18) Hallelujah! It is standing our ground in the authority Lord Jesus has given all those who Believe over the realms of darkness! (Luke 10:19) It is knowing if God is for us, who can be against us! (Romans 8:31) Amen!
Anointing our home with oil is not only a prophetic act and declaration of our trust in our Lord, it is declaring our home is consecrated unto Him (Exodus 40:9-15).
Therefore, we ensure nothing in our home would be contrary to our Lord, whom we have laid down our lives, whom we follow and love. Nothing that would not honor Him, nothing that would grieve Him. Living a life of worship that is pleasing unto our Lord, blessing Him! Holy, set apart for His will and purposes! A home that is a sanctuary where we can pray and read our bible daily, a home where our family is blessed! A home where holy angels want to gather! Where the manifest presence of God is felt! His glory filling every room! We do not want anything in our home that would attract or invite demonic spirits and powers! Access denied!This means no New Age books or items, no occult or witchcraft items, no horoscopes, astrology, crystals, demonic statues, halloween items, horror/witchcraft/pornographic video games or books. They should not be in the home of any child of God who has chosen to follow Lord Jesus, living their life for Him. (Galatians 2:20)
Ask Holy Spirit to highlight anything in your home that grieves or offends Him, anything that would attract or invite evil spirits, you don't want the enemy in your home! You will know in your spirit, something is not right. There is a grace to remove that item and be at peace. We do not want anything in our home that does not honor our Lord.
WHAT YOU NEED TO START
Find a small bottle and fill it with whatever kind of oil you want. Preferably an oil that won't stain or damage whatever you anoint. (I use olive oil) Pray in faith over the bottle of oil, asking Holy Spirit to touch the oil, anointing it. Then put the bottle of oil aside for the purposes of anointing your home as you feel led by Holy Spirit. He will let you know when it is needed.
WHAT DO YOU ANOINT
Anoint the top of the door frame of the front and back door and the top of each window frame in your home or where you are staying. You can anoint the gate to your property, your boundary fence, your car, anything you feel led to anoint.
HOW DO YOU ANOINT
With a little oil on your finger, dab the oil where you want to anoint. Not much is needed. It is your faith that releases the power of God! Releasing Father's holy angels to protect and defend you! Your faith in Him releases His holy angels to uphold you!
WHAT DO YOU SAY
Speak in faith (Conviction in your heart) and in the authority given by Lord Jesus. “I apply this oil in the authority I have been given by Lord Jesus, it represents the power of God and the power of the blood of the Lamb." Then dab on the oil.
* Make this declaration if living in your home.
"I declare my home and all who live here or visits, comes under the protection of the Most High! Nothing of the realms of darkness can cross the precious blood of Lord Jesus! His blood separates my home, all those who live here or those who visit from everything of the realms of darkness! In Jesus name! We dwell in the secret place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty! He is our Refuge and our Fortress, our God in whom we trust! He is our hedge of protection! If God is for us, who can be against us! No weapon formed against us will prosper! In Jesus name."
* Make this declaration for where you are staying if not your home.
"I declare this (Name where you are staying, whether it is a hotel room/motel room/house/apartment/cabin/caravan/tent/car/boat) comes under the protection of the Most High! Nothing of the realms of darkness can cross the precious blood of Lord Jesus! His blood separates me (Name those who are staying with you) from everything of the realms of darkness! In Jesus name! I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, under the shadow of the Almighty! He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God in whom I trust! He is my hedge of protection! If God is for me, who can be against me! No weapon formed against me will prosper! In Jesus name."
Next is optional no matter where you live but I highly recommend it!
Worship God and sing aloud to Him! Fill your home or where you are staying with the atmosphere of heaven! Love on Him and give Him the praise! He is worthy! Make your home or where you are staying a house of prayer and worship! A sanctuary, in the secret place of the Most High! Ask Holy Spirit to fill every room of your home or where you are staying! Ask Him to have His way in your home, in the lives of all those who will be living there and in the lives of those who visit. To all who live there in holiness, in righteous and in the truth. Giving Him the permission and the freedom to move in your hearts and in your lives. Ask Lord Jesus to take His rightful place as King of kings and Lord of lords! DECLARING JESUS CHRIST AS LORD IN YOUR HOME!
Ask Lord Jesus to release His peace in your home, over all who live there, for His Spirit to move and have His being. A loving home, with Godly divine order marriages and Godly divine relationships!
