THE DEMON OF COMPLAINING

The children of Israel saw the giants in the promised land and had unbelief in their hearts, they did not believe God, instead looked to self and how the giants were much bigger than they were. (Numbers 13:31-33) They did not look to God, did not trust or believe Him to cause them to enter the promised land and conquer the giants! Caleb saw the giants but his heart believed God and trusted what He said about the promised land and knew they could overcome the giants! (Numbers 13:30) He did not look to self but trusted God! That was the difference! He walked by faith and not by sight! Having faith in the One who is Faithful!

When in the wilderness for 40 years, the children of Israel continually complained. They kept looking at their discomfort, what they did not have, what they used to have, what they thought Moses should be doing or should have done, complaining against him and against God!

Complaining can keep us in the wilderness because we are looking at what we think or perceive to be wrong about a situation or a person and how it makes us feel. When we complain, we are looking to self. How we feel about the situation or what the person has said or has done we deemed as wrong or not right. How it affects us. The enemy wants us to keep looking at the situation or the person and how it makes us feel in the flesh so we continue to complain and not get breakthrough in our lives! We keep going around the mountain, staying in the wilderness!

We can make a heart decision to not receive negative thoughts or feelings about a situation or a person thus access denied to the demonic who want access to our hearts! Father is asking us to look to Him! To lay down that situation or person at His feet in prayer, so He can reveal the root cause of our complaining, to heal our hearts or expose a demon of complaining and set us free! To receive His peace and rest, a ceasing of trying to work things out ourselves, moving forward and growing spiritually in Him! (Maturing)

When we complain, we have taken our eyes off from our Lord and are looking at what we believe to be the problem. We are to keep our eyes and mind stayed on our Lord, trusting the One who is the answer to every problem! Complaining is saying to our Lord we don't trust Him to cause a good outcome with the person or situation. We keep our peace, acknowledging and trusting Him with all that may arise in our lives. Choosing to have a thankful heart unto Him. (Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing)

If we keep complaining, we will keep going around and around the mountain, just as God kept the children of Israel in the wilderness for 40 years. God will keep presenting situations and people in our lives as a sandpaper (To smooth away the rough edges in us,  the flesh that rises up that needs to be crucified) so we learn to stop looking at what we feel/think to be the problem and look to Him, laying all at His feet in prayer, so He can minister to our hearts and expose the root cause of the complaining. A heart that is humble to hear the truth of the matter, waiting on Him.

Such is the love of God for His children! Desiring us be set free! To keep our peace! Living a life of thanksgiving unto Him! (Philippians 4:6-7) Keeping our mind stayed on things above and not on the things on earth! (Colossians 3:2) Meditating on what is good, praise worthy, pure, right and of good report! (Philippians 4:8) Walking by faith and not by sight! (2 Corinthians 5:7) To see things through the heart of the Father, choosing to only speak words of life and blessing, His truth and His promises! To be kind, patient, bearing with one another in love, forgiving and extending grace! (Colossians 3:12-14) Knowing we are His workmanship (Ephesians 2:10) and we are still a work in progress. (Holy Spirit sanctification. He is doing the work in our hearts and lives) All still attaining to the perfection we have in our Lord Jesus, thus we extend grace and meet each other where we are at in our walk with our Lord. Choosing to encourage, edify, uphold one another in love. Choosing to resist complaining about one another to each other. Instead praying for one another in love as the Spirit leads.

CONTINUAL COMPLAINING IS A DEMON

Continual complaining about a situation, about what is happening in our life, about our health, finances, the government, an establishment, a church, about a person, is our flesh being influenced by the demon of complaining. We point out what we feel/think is wrong or how we feel/think how it should have been done. Then we can try to impose our will upon a person or the situation, to control and manipulative to achieve what we believe should happen. This is witchcraft of the flesh. (Galatians 5:20)

Continual complaining about a person/people can happen due to unforgiveness, resentment or the root of bitterness within the heart. We choose to forgive in obedience to the Word of God, all those whom we feel has hurt or wronged us in some way, then Lord Jesus can heal our heart. We need to repent of unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness. (There are demons called unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness)The demon of complaining can work with the demons of murmuring, backbiting, gossip, slander, strife, anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness. We need to repent of complaining. It is not of God.

PRAYER TO FORGIVE

Ask Holy Spirit to bring to your mind those whom you need to forgive whom you had been complaining about.

“In obedience to the Word of God, I choose to forgive (Name the person/people) for (Say out loud what you felt what that person did and how it made you feel). In Jesus name. I release him/her/them into Your hands Lord Jesus. Please heal my heart and set me free from all that is not of You. Thank You Lord Jesus.”

SEVER UNGODLY SOUL TIES AND DEMONIC BONDS

This prayer ensures no demon that came in through an ungodly soul tie or demonic bond can stay. It is a self-deliverance prayer, demons will be leaving you. Demons may leave as a cough, burp, sigh, yawn, vomit, build up of saliva (spit it out), tears in the eyes (wipe them away), feel a weight lift from you, feel something has left, some feel nothing at all when demons leave. Speak in the authority our Lord Jesus has given you over the realms of darkness. (Luke 10:19)

Speak the name of the person/people whom you just forgave.

“I sever myself from every ungodly soul tie and every demonic bond to (Speak name of person)! Any agreements I made not of God with this person or with the realms of darkness, I break those agreements! In Jesus name!”

“I command every demonic spirit and power that came through an ungodly soul tie and demonic bond from (speak person's name) to leave me now! I command you to leave me in all your entirety and go straight to the abyss and into it! COME OUT! In Jesus name!"

REPENT AND RENOUNCE COMPLAINING ON BEHALF OF PARENTS AND ANCESTORS

NOTE: It is optional to add your spouse, children or grandchildren in this prayer, the curses will be broken off from them if you do.

NOTE: For those who had been fostered, adopted or had someone who had parental care over you for a length of time, had step parents or mother or father-in-law, add what is appropriate for you written in the brackets.

“I repent and renounce on behalf of my parents and my ancestors (My foster parents/parents who adopted me/those who had parental care of me/step parents/mother and father- in-law and their ancestors) of complaining, murmuring, backbiting, gossip, slander, strife, anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness. In Jesus name. I renounce and break all agreements they made with the realms of darkness when they were influenced by these demons! In Jesus name! I break every curse that came upon me and my bloodline when my parents and ancestors (My foster parents/parents who adopted me/those who had parental care of me/step parents, mother and father in-law and their ancestors) continually complained, murmured, backbite, gossiped, slandered, caused strife, were influenced by the demons of anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness! In Jesus name! Off from me (My husband/wife/children/grandchildren etc..) my bloodline and all future generations! In Jesus name!

I command every demonic spirit and power attached to a curse because of my parent's and my ancestor's (My foster parents/parents who adopted me/those who had parental care of me/step parents/mother and father in-law and their ancestors) continually complained, murmured, backbite, gossiped, slandered, caused strife, were influenced by the demons of anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness to leave me now in all your entirety! You will leave me (My husband/wife/children/grandchildren etc..) and my bloodline! COME OUT! LEAVE! I command you! In Jesus name!"

REPENT AND RENOUNCE COMPLAINING IN YOUR LIFETIME

“I repent of all complaining, murmuring, backbiting, gossip, slander, strife, anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness in my lifetime. In Jesus name. I break every agreement I have ever made with the realms of darkness when I was influenced by these demons in my lifetime! In Jesus name! I break every curse that came upon me and my bloodline when I continually complained, murmured, backbite, gossiped, slandered, caused strife, were influenced by the demons of anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness! In Jesus name! Off from me (My husband/wife/children/grandchildren etc..) my bloodline and all future generations! In Jesus name!

I command every demonic spirit and power of complaining, murmuring, backbiting, gossip, strife, anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness to leave me (My husband/wife/children/grandchildren etc..) in all your entirety COME OUT! LEAVE! I command you! In Jesus name!

I command every demonic spirit and power attached to a curse that came in my lifetime when I continually complained, murmured, backbite, gossiped, caused strife, was influenced by the demons of anger, revenge, retaliation, retribution, malice, vindictiveness, unforgiveness, resentment and bitterness to leave me now in all your entirety! You will leave me (My husband/wife/children/grandchildren etc..) and my bloodline! COME OUT! LEAVE! I command you!  In Jesus name!”

Ask Holy Spirit to fill you fresh to overflow.

"Holy Spirit, please fill me fresh to overflow. Thank You Holy Spirit."

Give Lord Jesus the praise! Whom the Son sets free, shall be free indeed! (John 8:36) You will know the truth and the truth will set you free! (John 8:32)

Colossians 3:12-14
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

Ephesians 4:1-4
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

James 4:7
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

Submit the person/situation to God. Laying it at the feet of Jesus and trusting Him to work all things together for the good. Not picking it up again but leaving it with Him and keeping your peace. Ask Him what you need to learn through it. What is in your heart that needs addressing. Whatever is shown, lay it down to Him in prayer and thank Him for setting you free.
